Greg and Nic will be co-presenting an educational session on cryptocurrency and digital assets at the conference: CryptocurrencyPart I: What Is Cryptocurrency? The session will cover the basics of cryptocurrencies, from various types of digital assets to blockchain technology to the risks posed by investing in digital assets.

Willig Williams & Davidson Attorneys Speak At Ifebp Annual Conference

Beall will present on fiduciary duties, using real-world situations as examples, for pension trustees, administrators, and professional advisors. Pongracz will provide an overview of fiduciary duties for health and welfare trustees, administrators and professional advisors, closing with a review of hot topics in the public sectors legal environment.

Karen Ferguson To Receive Honor From International Foundation Of Employee Benefit Plans

The Pension Rights Center is thrilled to announce that the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans will be giving its 2022 Public Service Award, posthumously, to Karen Ferguson, the Centers beloved founder and former president, who died in December at age 80.
The award will honor Karen for her lifetime of advocacy to protect and promote retirement security, the International Foundation said. It will be presented on the morning of May 24, during the International Foundations Washington Legislative Update conference held at the Hilton Washington D.C. National MallThe Wharf. It will be followed by a roundtable discussion on the future of retirement plan policy, featuring PRC Executive Director Karen Friedman, American Benefits Council President James A. Klein and Lynn D. Dudley, ABCs senior vice president, global retirement and compensation policy.
Kevin E. Tighe, the International Foundations President and Chair of the Board, will present the award to Karen Fergusons son, American University Law Professor Andrew Ferguson.
Karen created the Pension Rights Center in 1976, making it a stalwart consumer organization dedicated solely to protecting and promoting the retirement income security of American workers, retirees and their families.

Seong Kim To Present At The International Foundation Of Employee Benefits Plan 67th Annual Conference
On Tuesday, October 19, 2021, Seyfarth Employee Benefits partner Seong Kim will present two sessions at the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plan 67th Annual Conference.
In his first session titled “Representing Public Sector Plans”, Seong will present on topics including public pension plan funding, socially responsible investing, Secure Choice defined contribution plans, investment and service provider fee litigation, and opportunities to revise vesting rules. Ifebp 60th Annual Employee Benefits Conference
